Natural beauty permeates conscious daily living with these stunning bowls, which exist as both functional pieces for home and intriguing art works. Every custom piece is formed by hand, glazed, then pit fired for roughly an hour and a half. The copper comes from submerging the still hot bowl in a bath of sawdust, straight from the kiln. These lovely vessels are food safe and can be used on their own, or paired with our handmade tropical wood chopsticks, which are sold separately.

Our master artisan partner comes from a talented family of potters, who constantly strive to develop innovative designs and finishes. While this artisan creates custom functional works to our specifications for our collection, his main focus is on ambitious sculptural projects that have seen his impressive work displayed in galleries throughout Mexico and beyond.

Approximately 18cm wide x 10cm high x 2 ½ cm deep

Hand wash, and do not place in the dish washer or microwave. These pieces are food safe, however anything acidic like citrus juice or vinegar should not be introduced to the copper surface, as it will change the glaze from copper to green.

The price is for a single udon bowl. The tropical wood chopsticks are sold separately. Given the nature of handmade, sizes, designs and colours may vary slightly from the featured product image.
