Luna Handwoven Tree Bark Hanging Basket

Organize your kitchen, bathroom or office with these rustic, tiered natural hanging baskets. Woven by hand by our master artisan partners in Central Mexico, these pieces incorporate local tree bark and traditional processes, and employ the same methods that have been used since pre-Hispanic times. Every piece features a top loop for hanging, as well as an intricate web design on the bottom for resistance when storing produce or bathroom essentials.

Artisans
This democratic group of seven women collaborate on a range of products – including baskets, handwoven and embroidered textiles, along with delicately scented handmade soap that is made from local, organic ingredients.

Care
Wipe with a damp cloth, warm water and mild soap to clean. While a little water won’t hurt this piece, it should not be left damp for long periods, or a musty scent may occur. If this does occur, set the piece in a warm, dry local and reshape if necessary prior to.

The price is for a single luna hanging basket. The noted width is for the largest basket on the bottom, with two larger baskets on top. Every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, so the shape, size and colour will vary slightly. Any styling props in the images are not included.
