Handwoven Palm Fringe Baskets

Our love of minimalism encourages our efforts to bring handmade works to our collections that exist as both functional vessels and art pieces. These pristine palm baskets are available in three sizes and highlight the beauty of natural palm, while the playful fringe edge speaks to the production process. Individually woven by master artisans, these baskets are both plant-based and biodegradable. They’re ideal for storing laundry, extra blankets, potted plants organizing shelves, or even simply as a display piece.

Artisans
Palm weaving is a form of artistry that dates back centuries in various states of Mexico. We partner with two collectives of weavers from the Mixteca region of Oaxaca, Mexico, in order to produce these custom pieces for our collection. Every one of these skilled individuals learned their craft from a family member, who in turn also learned from previous generations.

Care
Wipe with a dry cloth to clean. Avoid getting this piece wet for risk of damaging the material. If this does occur, set the piece in a warm, dry local and reshape if necessary prior to.
