Ayate Handmade Agave Exfoliating Wash Cloth

Invigorate your skin with these natural beauties that are ethically made, sustainable and vegan. Every cloth is individually produced by hand by our artisan partners from agave string and support a texture that serves a range of purposes in the home – from body scrubber in the shower or bath, to dish cloth in the kitchen. Simply wash as needed and hang to dry. Known locally as an ‘ayate’ these cloths are mold-resistant and will last longer than their synthetic counterparts.

Artisans
These cloths are handmade by a group of artisans in Central Mexico, using the same materials and methods that have been in place for decades. We collaborate directly with these artisans on our orders for these traditional works.

Care
Simply hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and hang to dry. This piece can also be cleaned in a washing machine on gentle cycle, then hung to dry.
