Whether you need to lengthen your hammock, in order to create the ideal relaxation zone between two cherry trees, or you just want to use something more aesthetically pleasing for hanging than plain old rope, our handmade hammock extenders are here to help. Created to our specifications by the same artisan that makes our handmade hammocks, these lovely works are comprised of a fine, flexible, cream cotton that is both minimalist and durable.

Artisan
Our artisan partner first learned her artistic mastery from her parents as a little girl. While they encouraged her to wait to participated in artisan practices until she was older, she regularly snuck materials to her room to work with, using techniques that she developed by watching her parents and grandparents work. In investing in this piece, clients are able to actively support the continuance of this creative family history.

Care
While these are durable pieces, they should not be left outside for extended periods of time in various types of weather, as this will stain and break down the material. When not in use, we recommend bringing both your hammock and extenders indoors and put safely in storage. As these are made from natural materials, they will eventually break down with time and use.

To clean, this piece should be dry cleaned or soaked overnight in cold water with mild soap and vinegar, then hung to dry. Do not clean this piece in a washing machine or dryer or damage may occur.
