Cocina Green Onyx Mortar and Pestle Set

Luxury embodied, our custom matte stone mortar and pestle sets are fit for multipurpose uses in the kitchen – from grinding spices to making guacamole. We offer them on a made-to-order basis only, in a choice of green onyx, yellow onyx, white onyx or pink marble.

Due to the nature of the organic materials, every piece is one-of-a-kind. Patterns, hues, sizes and finished vary, and onyx naturally features cracks, holes and other elements. These are a part of the organic material and are not flaws.

These pieces are the result of a custom collaboration that we developed in conjunction with master artisans in 2018. As with all of our collections, we work directly with the makers, not through intermediaries. This way, we're able to ensure fair payment to the artisans and offer the most competitive pricing to our own clients.

Artisans
This family have been working with stone for over three generations. While they make smaller custom pieces for our collection, they also create larger sculptural works, along with furniture, sinks and counters for custom homes.

Care
For best care results, this mortar and pestle set should be washed by hand. Do not clean in the dishwasher as it may damage the pieces.

The noted price is for a single mortar and pestle set. The included photos are made from green onyx, however we can make these pieces from a variety of stone. We do not keep these pieces in stock and they're made by special order only.
