Pajaro Pit Fired Clay Incense Holder
$11.00
Individually created by hand from Mexican clay by a master artisan in Oaxaca, these slow made, pit fired pottery birds serve as a whimsical incense burner in your space. Simply place the stick in the top opening, and sweep up the ash once the burn process is done. They’re also a sweet addition to a planter, and can be hung on a string – both individually or as a group – for a decorative piece of art.
Artisan
This young, female artisan creates custom designs in her home workshop in the central valley of Oaxaca, Mexico. While she’s based in a town that’s most famous for their barro negro pottery, these particular works support intricate details and a matte, terracotta finish.
