Organic Crocheted Maguey Soap Bag

These humble soap bags are individually with handmade agave string, and feature a drawstring to close the bag. Ideal for housing a new bar of soap, or assembling leftover soap bits, so that they don’t go to waste, this bag can be hung in the shower or bath for easy use. They shrink after the first use, and can be machine washed and hung to dry. A lovely addition to a sustainable home – not only do these bags fit a conscious lifestyle, they also help to support Mexican artisans, and allow them to work from home.

These sponges are handmade by a group of artisans in Central Mexico, using the same materials and methods that have been in place for decades.

This soap bag can be used anywhere – from bathroom to kitchen. It’s durable, naturally mildew resistant, and made entirely from natural materials. When not in use, it should preferably be kept in a dry place.
