A beautiful blend of art and function, this custom piece can be used to serve dips, measure coffee beans or even add scented salts to a relaxing bath. Created with rustic tools by artisans in Central Mexico, then smoothed to perfection, these scoops are treated with a natural beeswax polish to encourage sheen and protection. A lovely addition tied to a self care gift of a handmade towel and face cloth, ayate and maguey body sponge, these scoops are made to our specifications with sustainably sourced tropical hardwood, exclusively for our collection.

This group has been working with local tropical woods for generations. They create both their own designs, and custom pieces including bowls, plates, utensils and sculptural candle holders. As the natural environment is important to them, they take great care to only work with woods that are locally accessible and do not damage the environment.

Approximately 7cm wide x 12cm long x 2cm deep

For best care results, this scoop should be washed by hand in cool water without bleach or harsh soaps, then dried with a towel. Do not clean in the dishwasher as this will destroy the piece. In order to maintain the sheen, treat with beeswax polish and linseed oil from time to time.

The noted price is for a single scoop. Given the nature of handmade, sizes, patterns, designs and hues may vary slightly from the featured product image.
